Sanur Village Festival

Exploring the vibrant and artistic environment of Sanur Village is always fascinating. Originating from the aftermath of the Bali Bombing II tragedy in 2005, Ida Bagus Sidartha Putra initiated and organized this annual celebration with members from the tourism, arts, and culture sectors. Eventually, it took the form of the Sanur Village Festival, commonly known as SVF or Sanfest, which is now fully managed by the Sanur Development Foundation.

The festival takes place on Sanur Beach and has been held in three locations: the Maesonete area and cottage area at Inna Grand Bali Beach, Mertasari Beach, and Matahari Terbit Beach in Sanur. The concept behind the Sanur Village Festival is to provide a creative space that bridges community life, art, and culture. This concept is also implemented in the tourism industry, fostering a renewed enthusiasm to preserve the rich ancestral heritage.
